Bells ring out so people can hear them from far away, and loud is the word for a big, strong sound.

Cozy blankets keep your body comfortable by holding in heat, and warm is the describing word for that gentle heat.

Candy is made with lots of sugar, and sweet is the taste word for sugary foods.
6. The night sky is very dark.
At night the sky has no sunlight, so it looks dark, which means there is very little light.
7. A cactus feels sharp and dry.
A cactus has pointy spines that can poke you, so sharp tells how it feels to touch.
8. The fresh bread smells good.
Fresh bread coming out of the oven smells wonderful, and good is a simple describing word for a smell you like.
9. The ice cube is cold and wet.
Ice cubes come from the freezer, so they feel cold, the opposite of hot.
